De Yamaha XJ6 is een fijne en toegankelijke allround motor die zich heel makkelijk laat rijden. De 600cc viercilinder loopt heerlijk soepel en heeft genoeg vermogen om lekker door te rijden, zonder dat de motor intimiderend aanvoelt. De XJ6 stuurt makkelijk en voorspelbaar en is daardoor geschikt voor zowel beginnende als ervaren motorrijders. Ideaal voor een mooie dag toeren, bochtige binnenwegen of gewoon een ontspannen rit door Nederland. Ook op de snelweg komt hij prima mee. Wat ik zelf fijn vind aan de XJ6 is de combinatie van comfort en plezier: je hoeft niet hard te werken om er lekker mee te rijden, maar als je wat sportiever wilt rijden is daar genoeg ruimte voor. De viercilinder geeft daarbij dat typische soepele motorkarakter en een lekker geluid. Kortom: een betrouwbare, comfortabele en vooral erg leuke motor voor vrijwel iedere soort rit!
